Introduction

The end of the year can be an exciting time, filled with optimism and motivation. In this case, it can be tempting to dive headfirst into goals you’ve set for the new year.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, it can also be chaotic and stressful, and you just want it to be over already. And in this case, it can be tempting to just let this year be over with and mentally hibernate until it’s over.

But moving onto next year without a moment of appreciation for this one is a missed opportunity.
